Great Mexican food. They have a variety of other food for those who want a little of something else. Great service and they serve quickly. Reasonably priced.
I ordered the fajita combo and really enjoyed the classic fideo and tacos. This place reminded me of the home cooked meals I had growing up in McAllen. Staff was super friendly and attentive, hope to go back soon!
1st time here and wow... Food was very bla, no flavor at all. Wait staff seemed annoyed by customers being there in general. And to top it all off. Lady in booth next to me "a nurse in scrubs" had a bug in her food, she didnt know it till it was in her mouth. Omg.. She was in the bathroom throwing up forever. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE PEOPLE.. WOW! Then the staff tried to say she probably brought the bug in to get a free meal. A tasteless ten dollar meal.. Just wow wow and wow...
I have been here plenty of times and gotten good service but this time it was way different. I walk in and water for them to sit me but it took them awhile to tell me I can sit where ever I want. I sat down then they never came to get my order. I sat there over 5 min and went to go ask a lady if she can take my order and she did. She brought me my water and salsa but no chips. Then she never came back. So I got another lady to get my order. I put it to go order then as soon as I got it I left. I still left a tip because I used to but I don't think they earn it. I really don't think I would ever go there again. 4 years going there and I don't think I will again.
I want to say the food really is great! I'm giving the bad review because I've been a long time customer of this location. Just recently I've started having issues though. This is Texas... chips and salsa should be free for starters. Used to be free here. Not anymore and that's super upsetting. Y'all make it for pennies on the dollar then charge $3 for it. Not good considering every other taco shop in town has free chips and salsa. The online menu is a joke too. I was about to order breakfast tacos, but there are no prices or any info on those for that matter. I think y'all need to pick it back up. Get your stuff together and quit trying to be so greedy. Give people there free chips and salsa. And get some real info on your online menus.
