Keith in appliances was so helpful, he didn't try to push a washer and dryer at me, I knew what I wanted, he made sure it happened! We have gone to Lowe's more than I'd like (remodeling costs alot!) But they have everything we need, good prices and friendly staff. I use to only go to Home Depot, but found Lowe's to be better! Will return soon I'm sure!
Servixe at Lowe's has been declining the last few years but we thought for a big purchase it might be different. We were shopping for new kitchen appliances and found the staff to be unhelpful. Amazingly I had to chase down help and the person I found almost seemed reluctant to assist. He was not aware of in stock items and was not forthcoming on delivery and installation information. I thought they earned at least some commission??? BTW they do not price match Costco and he don't know why... But I do. We saved more than $1000 buying from Costco and received free delivery, install, haul off, and extended warranties for the same brand and models.
The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! We bought a fridge from them. When they delivered a fridge, they broke the bottom of it... so the manager on duty promised to deliver a new fridge on the next day since they had a few of them in stock. We waited all morning for delivery guys to show up, tried to call them and all we were told that the manger was gone for the day and there is nobody else to help us. Being so frustrated I took my time and drove to Lowe’s. Waited in line for 30 mins because they have only ONE person at the service desk...come to find out my delivery was reschedule for a week from that day. Assistant GM was trying to calm me down by saying it’s all his fault since he is in charge of the store. What a bull! He said he would personally make sure the delivery of my item. Is this supposed to make me feel better!? I’ve worked for Menards( same as Lowe’s but much better customer service store up North) for 4 years as a department manger. And if smth like this happened under my control- I would’ve made sure my customers not only get a discount as an apology for time wasted while waiting on unprofessional delivery workers, but also make sure a delivery manger personally apologizes for her irresponsibility. Will never do business with these people!..until they train their personnel how to work with customers in a proper way!
The plumbing department is horribly stocked. I don't know why I even bother to come here. They never have PVC fittings they're always out and disorganized. Maybe I need to switch my business back to Home Depot
The young lady and gentlemen that help us we're great. One walked us around to find what we were looking for. The young man went to get a ladder and got down what I needed. I know some people will say that they are just doing their jobs, but I never get this treatment at Home Depot, which is why I prefer Lowe's.
